Dynamite Day Camp
(School Age Up To 12 Years Old)

Get ready for the ultimate summer experience where every week is a new adventure!
Our full-day camp blends social-emotional learning, hands-on exploration, and creative play in a safe, structured, and exciting environment. Perfect for kids who love to learn, laugh, and make new friends!
Dynamite Day Camp is a 12-week day camp that blends hands-on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) activities with vital social-emotional learning in a creative, supportive environment.
Available at both our Alton and East Alton locations, the summer camp is designed for children entering first through fifth grades. Each themed week focuses on imaginative, interactive learning—from launching model rockets to cracking secret spy codes—while helping campers build confidence, resilience, and friendships.
“Kids thrive when they’re encouraged to explore both their curiosity and their feelings,” says Susan Berry, Executive Director of Toddle Towne. “We’ve designed our Dynamite Day Camp curriculum to inspire young minds with STEAM while supporting their emotional and social growth, which is just as critical.”
Highlights of this year’s program include:
- STEAM-focused themes like Journey into Outer Space, Super Hero Training Academy, Teamwork Makes the Dream Work, Wild West Expansion, Super Spy School
- Creative exploration through art, storytelling, engineering challenges, and nature walks
- Daily social-emotional practices, including mindfulness, team-building, and reflective activities
- Bi-weekly field trips and guest visitors to connect learning with the community
Dynamite Day Camp runs from May 27 through August 15, Monday through Friday. Families may register for the whole summer or by week. Last year registration was sold out! Slots are limited and filling quickly.
